The Safe Room

By David Lopera

Some places promise a second chance. Others conceal something far more sinister.

After being expelled from her previous school, Susan Colt is sent to Palisades Academy, an institution whose manicured lawns and respectable appearance promise reform and a fresh start.

But behind its seemingly perfect exterior lies a disturbing secret. As discipline takes a darker turn, Susan finds herself trapped in a terrifying struggle against a system determined to break her.

The Safe Room is a chilling tale of psychological horror, institutional cruelty, and the terrifying secrets hidden behind closed doors.
